The Nepse index has increased by 4.5% till today

 The Nepse index has increased by 4.5% till today, reaching a point of 2,150.99. In the previous session, the Nepse was at 2,055.53, indicating a rise of 4.64%, or 95.46 points. Today, the market opened for trading for 4 out of 5 hours. Among them, 3 hours experienced a bullish trend, while one hour witnessed a bearish trend. The Nepse ended on a declining note at the close of today's trading session.

According to the latest statistics, the sensitive index has increased by 4.39 percent, while the float index has increased by 5.02 percent and the sensitive index has increased by 4.68 percent.

Along with the Nepse index, the daily average trading volume has also increased. In the previous week, the market witnessed a trading volume of 4 billion 13 crore shares, whereas this week's average trading volume stands at 5 billion 81 crore rupees, equivalent to share transactions. In comparison to the previous week, the daily average trading volume has increased by 40.66 percent, which amounts to 1 billion 68 crore rupees. Additionally, the daily average trading quantity has increased by 27.67 percent, while the daily average share quantity has increased by 26.38 percent.

Furthermore, the total market capitalization of Nepse has also grown by 4.4 percent. The market capitalization at the end of the previous week was 30 trillion 10 billion rupees, and currently, it has increased to 31 trillion 50 crore rupees, which is an increment of 1 trillion 39 billion rupees.

This week, there has been an increase in 13 sub-indices, with the microfinance sub-index experiencing the highest growth of 11.93 percent. The sub-index of this group, which closed at 3,728.51 points in the previous week, has increased by 444.80 points and reached 4,173.31 points. Similarly, the sub-index of the investment subgroup has increased by the lowest percentage, which is 0.58 percent.

Based on the points, the life insurance sub-index has shown the highest growth among all the subgroups. The sub-index of this group, which closed at 11,439.79 points in the previous week, has increased by 1,281.43 points and reached 12,721.22 points.


This week, a total of 2,393,749.74 units of shares from three companies have been listed on Nepse. The shares listed on Nepse this week belong to Samata Microfinance, Mahuli Microfinance, and Jeevan Vikas Microfinance.


This week, Bipul Blue Microfinance Financial Institution has seen the highest increase in share price, with a growth of 46.39 percent. Similarly, Swabalamban Microfinance has experienced a 29 percent increase in share price, while Progressive Finance has seen a significant rise of 27 percent. On the other hand, the share price of Suprameadie Hydropower, which entered the market, has decreased the most, with a decline of 7.61 percent. The prices of other stocks have witnessed a decrease rate of less than 6 percent.


During the floor analysis, Siti Hotel, Mountain Energy, and MMBL-50 have emerged as the most popular stocks in the top positions of the stock buy list. Additionally, Himalayan Life Insurance, Shivshree Hydropower, and Sicles Hydropower have secured the top positions in the most popular stocks for selling, according to the stock sell list.
